He has undertaken a number of national 863 program projects and national major science and technology projects, published more than 200 research papers, applied for and won more than 30 authorized Chinese invention patents, and won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress.

Research Interests

He is mainly engaged in the teaching and research work of energy and environmental materials, and his research fields include: environmental purification materials, key technologies of high-power nickel-metal hydride power batteries, high-capacity lithium-ion power batteries and key materials, etc.

Education

Graduated from Beijing Institute of Chemical Technology, majoring in Physical Chemistry (1983);
Master degree in Physical Chemistry from Tsinghua University (1986);
He received his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology (2003).

Professional Experience

In 1986, he joined the faculty of Chemical Engineering Department of Beijing Institute of Technology.
From 1991 to 1992, he was engaged in research on molecular sieve catalyst at the Department of Chemistry, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
After returning to China, he taught at the Department of Chemical Engineering (1992-1997), the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials (1997-2003), the School of Chemical Engineering and Environment (2003-2015) and the School of Materials (2015-present) of Beijing Institute of Technology.
