Yang Song, male, Doctor, Associate Professor, Special researcher, doctoral supervisor. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering and Master of Engineering in Computer Application Technology from Dalian University of Technology in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Professor Chen Zhikui received his PhD from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands in June 2015 (Supervisor: Prof. Piet Van Mieghem, Prof. Fernando A. Kuipers). From August 2015 to July 2017, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Data Research and Development Computing Center (GWDG) of the University of Gottingen, Germany (Marie Curie Fellowship, co-supervisor: Prof. Ramin Yahyapour, Prof. Xiaoming Fu). Since December 2017, he has served as pre-appointed Associate Professor, Permanent Associate Professor and Special Researcher of School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. In recent years, he has published more than 60 papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences, including more than 20 CCF class A papers and more than 10 papers in the first district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and published 2 English monographs and 1 Chinese textbook, and more than 1,000 Google academic citations. He has presided over more than 10 projects of the National Key Research and development Program, the National Natural Science Foundation and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation.

Research Interests

Research Direction
Cloud computing and edge computing: Build a small edge cloud system model at the system level, and on this basis realize edge device detection and identification, task distribution and unloading, video stream optimization transmission and intelligent analysis, serverless computing and other applications, and optimize the performance level (such as delay, load, etc.) and develop the system framework platform. At the theoretical level, combinatorial optimization theory, deep reinforcement learning and other algorithms are applied to optimize resource scheduling and allocation.
Network function virtualization, software defined network, quantum network and other new network architectures: This paper studies how to realize the resource distribution and application request system and platform based on the network function virtualization of software-defined network, studies and realizes the optimized routing algorithm, resource automatic control strategy, fault recovery and detection mechanism, and studies how to realize the integration of multi-protocol and communication technology under the framework of next-generation network.
Development and application of artificial intelligence algorithms and Internet of Things: Research includes optimization and improvement of algorithms such as deep reinforcement learning and graph neural networks, and development of iot related application systems based on artificial intelligence algorithms, such as intelligent transportation.
