Abstract
In this paper, the high-speed data transmission between ADSP-21060 and parallel port for an 8mm battlefield surveillance radar is studied. Enhanced parallel port (EPP) and FIFO memory are used to accomplish block data transfer. The circuit designed has realized high-speed data transmission between ADSP-21060 and parallel port and needs shorter time than SPP mode. This circuit has been applied to the signal processing system for an 8mm battlefield surveillance radar, and can be used for other practical systems in which parallel port is needed for data transmission.
