He has been engaged in the research of fractional domain signal and information processing for a long time, including sampling and fast algorithms, filtering and parameter estimation, multi-domain analysis and utilization, etc., and has been successfully applied in fractional domain signal and information processing theory and radar, communication, electronic countermeasures. He has presided over key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, major instrument projects (free application), major projects of foundation strengthening, key funds, pre-research projects, basic scientific research projects, and key projects of Beijing Nature Foundation. 187 papers published in international renowned academic journals such as IEEE Trans. Signal Process have been included by SCI, 79 papers published as the first author or corresponding author have been included by SCI, and more than 120 papers have been included by EI. Web of Science cited 3011 times, Google Scholar cited 8920 times, the highest single SCI cited 155 times, Web of Science H-index 30, Google Scholar H-index 38; Published 3 books and textbooks in the field of signal processing as the first author, including the first Chinese book on fractional Fourier transform in the field of signal processing published in 2004; 89 authorized invention patents.


He has won 1 first prize in natural science of the Ministry of Education, 2 first prize in Science and Technology progress of the Ministry of Education, 1 second prize in science and Technology of Beijing, 1 second prize in science and technology progress, and 1 second prize in science and technology of China Electronics Society. He is a core member of the national university Huang Danian teachers team, and won the Beijing University Teaching Teacher Award and the University Young Teacher Award. He has won 1 second prize of National teaching achievements, 1 national first-class undergraduate course, 1 first prize of Beijing Teaching Achievements, and 1 fine textbook of Beijing Higher education. He was named the pioneer of Industry and Information Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the excellent Party member of Beijing, the excellent Party member of Beijing University, and the advanced individual of Beijing Teachers' Ethics.
