Abstract
A CAN communication protocol for the fuel cell bus was designed according to SAE J1939 protocol and it was simulated in CANoe to evaluate its performance. The model of each node was set up in order to make the simulation vivid. The loads of bus in many different kinds of conditions were compared and the protocol was proved by simulation based on the models. This work gives a reference design to cut the cost and shorten the period of the exploitation.
