Research Project:
1. Key Project of zero-emission electric bus in Olympic Central Area (2000-2008) : carry out technology development of 5-wheel electric bus and key components, develop automatic and rapid battery charging/changing power station, and set up China's first electric bus demonstration operation fleet to fulfill national commitments.
2. Technology promotion and engineering application of pure electric commercial vehicles (2009-2015) : industrialization promotion with Shanghai Shenwo, GAC Bus, Yutong, FAW Bus and other enterprises; And the relevant results will be applied to the Shanghai Expo Park, Guangzhou Asian Games and other key projects. Promote the development and scale application of electric sanitation vehicles in Beijing.
3. Key technologies of hybrid electric transmission system of tracked armored vehicles and development of electric transmission sample vehicles (2001-2011) : Research on six key technologies of electric transmission system and research on hybrid electric transmission tracked armored vehicles were carried out, and demonstration and verification samples were developed and key technology verification and reliability assessment were carried out.
4. Beijing New Energy Vehicle Demonstration Project (2009-2015) : Demonstration of electric public sector vehicles based on public transport, sanitation, leasing and logistics, and application of private purchase of new energy vehicles based on passenger cars; Presided over the technical work of Beijing charging infrastructure planning and local standard system formulation.
5. National New energy Vehicle Operation Safety Three-level monitoring and Management Project (2010-) : With the goal of product quality management and operation safety, presided over the construction of Beijing electric vehicle operation management and monitoring platform; Promote the establishment of electric vehicle enterprises, local governments and the national three-level monitoring and management system.

Committed to the theoretical research of new energy vehicle integration and drive, key technology development and engineering application work, proposed and created China's electric vehicle, charging/changing power station system, vehicle networking and other system engineering technology system. It has established the National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicles, the "National 2011 Plan" Beijing Collaborative Innovation Center for Electric Vehicles, and the National monitoring and management platform for new energy vehicles. He has published 8 books and more than 200 academic papers, and won 2 second prizes of the National Technological Invention Award, 1 second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, He Liang He Li Award and many provincial and ministerial awards as the first complete person. He is currently the vice chairman of China Electrotechnical Society, the consultant of Beijing Municipal Government, the leader of the technical expert group of new energy vehicles in the field of Science and Technology Winter Olympics, and has successively served as the expert of the National new energy Vehicle expert Group, the director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Electric Vehicles, and the vice president of Beijing Institute of Technology.
