Abstract

Side peaks of digital video broadcasting-terrestrial (DVB-T) signal ambiguity function may cause false alarms in DVB-T based passive radar. Based on deducing the side peak positions and analyzing the causes of the side peaks, a method for suppressing the side peaks is proposed in this paper. Experimental results show that the proposed method can avoid false alarms of the side peaks and increase the target detection ability.
