Professor, School of Materials, Beijing Institute of Technology. Deputy Director of the national Key Laboratory, vice president of the School of Materials, director of the Thermal spraying branch of China Surface Engineering Association, executive director of the strategic alliance of provincial and ministerial innovation base, director of the Beijing Mechanical Engineering Society, deputy Secretary general of the Materials branch, director of the Sol gel branch of the Chinese Silicate Society.
His research interests are materials surface engineering, high energy rate protective coatings and ceramic-metal composites. He presided over key projects of basic scientific research of the Science and Industry Bureau, and developed ultra-high temperature thermal protective coatings, high-energy laser protective coating materials and lightweight ceramic metal composite materials to meet the needs of equipment for high energy rate protective materials and successfully applied them. He won 1 second prize of national technological invention, 1 provincial and ministerial science and technology innovation team award and 3 second prizes of science and technology innovation. More than 80 invention patents have been applied for, 50 have been authorized, and more than 120 papers have been published by SCI.
He taught the main courses of "Material Science Basis", "Material and its Forming Test Technology", etc., and successively won the title of advanced individual, Advanced individual of Teacher ethics and excellent class teacher, and twice won the title of "I love my Teacher" Top Ten teachers. His doctoral students won the excellent doctoral dissertation Award of Chinese Silicate Society and the nomination award of excellent doctoral dissertation of Chinese Composite Materials Society. He guided the students to win the gold medal of the main track of the 7th (2021) China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the first prize of Beijing, and the special prize of the 11th (2021) Capital College Students "Challenge Cup" extracurricular academic science and technology Works Competition.

Research Interests

Materials surface engineering: design and preparation of high temperature and high energy protective coating and evaluation of service efficiency, design and synthesis of raw materials of special functional coating powder;
Composite materials: preparation and protection efficiency of special composite materials, interface characterization.
