Personal profile

Zhiping Zhao, Professor, doctoral supervisor, Director of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Technology. He has long been engaged in the research work of new functional membrane material design and preparation, biomass conversion and separation process, new membrane reactor design and development, molecular simulation calculation, etc. He has presided over key projects of National Natural Science Foundation, surface projects, key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and provincial and ministerial projects, etc. J. Membr. Sci. Other top journals have published more than 100 SCI indexed papers and authorized more than 10 invention patents. He is also chief supervisor of Beijing Membrane Society and editor of Advanced Membranes and Membrane Science and Technology. He led the team to win the National Petroleum and Chemical Education Excellent Teaching Team in 2021 (ranked first) and the second prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Education Excellent Teaching Achievement in 2022 (ranked first).
