Zhao Qingjie, Ph.D., Professor, doctoral supervisor. In January 2003, he graduated from the State Key Laboratory of "Intelligent Technology and System" of the Computer Department of Tsinghua University with a doctorate degree in computer application technology, and his doctoral thesis was awarded the university-level excellent. In the same year, he engaged in teaching and scientific research at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, during which he spent one year in the Department of Computer Science, University of Essex, UK, and one year in the Department of Information Science, University of Hamburg, Germany, from 2008 to 2009 and 2017-2018 respectively. At present, he is a third-level professor/doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. He used to be the deputy director of the Institute of Intelligent Information Processing, the deputy director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Technology, and the deputy director of the first Special Committee of Intelligent Service of the Chinese AI Society. He has presided over more than 30 projects such as National Natural Science Foundation, national Key Research and development Program, aerospace science and technology, military/civilian 863, and school-enterprise cooperation projects, and has made contributions to solving industrial and national defense problems. At present, he is in charge of one national key research and development project and one sub-project, two related aerospace pre-research projects, and one key research and development sub-project of SASAC. He has published nearly 200 academic papers including top journals at home and abroad, published 6 books, and granted a number of patents.
Every year, he teaches object-oriented technology and methods (bilingual) for undergraduate courses, image and video processing for graduate courses, and has taught the principles of computer composition, software engineering practice, medical image processing, etc.
