Research Direction:
Construction of microbial cell factories based on synthetic biotechnology, and biosynthesis of high-value compounds with carbon and nitrogen neutralization. By means of enzyme engineering, metabolic engineering and synthetic biology, combined with bioinformatics, machine learning and protein design technologies, the development of enabling technologies, the construction of artificial cell factories, the creation of high-performance catalytic components, and the dynamic regulation of metabolic pathways are carried out to achieve microbial refining of high value-added compounds and green biofabration. The research content includes but is not limited to:
1. Cell factory: Construction of artificial cell factory based on gene editing, high-throughput screening and omics technology, function optimization and prediction with the help of bioinformatics and machine learning
2. Functional components: Mining of new functional components and directed evolution, activity regulation of high-performance catalytic components, combined with protein design technology to achieve more efficient catalysis 3. Regulation strategy: Using dynamic regulation methods based on biosensing technology and machine learning methods to achieve balanced distribution of metabolic flow and optimize regulation strategy
4. Target products: Biosynthesis of high value-added compounds such as bulk chemicals and food additives
