Zhao Kangfei, associate professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Institute of Technology, was selected as a national high-level talent. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the School of Computer Science and Technology of the University of Science and Technology of China in 2014, and his Doctorate degree from the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019. Before joining the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2023, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a senior researcher at Tencent AI Lab. His research interests include database, data mining and artificial intelligence. He has published nearly 20 class A papers recommended by the Computer Society (CCF), including the top conferences in the field of database and data mining ACM SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, NeurIPS, and top journals VLDB Journal, TKDE, etc.
