Research on synthesis and properties of high performance polymers. In view of the problems in extreme environment, fuel cell and photoresist, the corresponding research results have been obtained in the design and preparation of new polymers, the structure-activity relationship and the reaction mechanism.

He presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, 1 provincial and ministerial scientific research project, 2 university funds and 5 horizontal funds; As the first inventor authorized 3 national invention patents; Mainly engaged in the research of new polymer proton exchange membrane, fuel cell and new high-performance polymer; Published 28 papers, including 22 SCI papers.
