He has won 2 second prize of university-level Excellent Education and Teaching Achievement Award, 1 second prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Education and Teaching Achievement Award, and 2 national petroleum and chemical education excellent teaching teams.
He undertook the undergraduate courses of Chemical Engineering Design and Practice (I and II) and the postgraduate courses of Catalytic Science and Technology. Scientific research has been carried out in the fields of methane to syngas, methanol synthesis and catalytic conversion, efficient catalytic conversion of biomass, photoelectric catalytic conversion and utilization. In methanol synthesis and catalytic conversion, high activity and stability of CH4/CO2 reforming catalyst, methanol synthesis catalyst and dimethyl ether synthesis catalyst (γ-Al2O3, HZSM-5/MCM-41) have been developed. The 10,000-ton dimethyl ether industrialization technology developed has been industrialized in Hebei, Shaanxi, Xinjiang and other places. In terms of efficient catalytic conversion of biomass, a magnetic mesoporous structure ultrafine particle supported ionic liquid catalyst was proposed by combining ionic liquid, mesoporous ultrafine particle and magnetic separation, which realized the coupling and efficient conversion of reaction-mass transfer-magnetic separation process during biodiesel synthesis. Combining the temperature-sensitive properties of polyether chain with ionic liquid, a new concept of temperature-sensitive biparental ionic liquid acid catalyst was proposed to realize the coupling and efficient conversion of reaction-mass transfer-phase separation process in biodiesel synthesis. In terms of photocatalytic conversion and utilization, a sol-gel method of microemulsion medium for the preparation of core-shell magnetic nanocomposite photocatalytic materials was proposed by using microemulsion interface effect. By coupling photocatalysis with magnetic separation, an airlift suspension photocatalytic water treatment method was proposed to solve the problem of low catalytic efficiency in liquid phase photocatalysis. The structure control of highly active and stable cobalt-based compound/carbon nanocomposites was carried out by the synergistic action of cobalt sulfur (selenium) compound and carbon nanocomposites. Low platinum CoFeO@Pt@ mesopporous carbon core-shell materials were prepared by in-situ reduction carbonization and chemical replacement, which effectively improved the utilization rate of Pt and the electrocatalytic methanol oxidation activity, catalyst stability and CO toxicity resistance, laying a foundation for the commercial application of direct methanol fuel cells.
