Personal profile

Famous teacher of Beijing Colleges and Universities, 2017-2021 Excellent Moral Educator of Beijing Colleges and universities, responsible professor of Qiushi Academy. Senior Member of Chinese Chemical Society; Member of Crystallography Society of China, member of crystallography Education and Popularization Committee. He is also an expert in reviewing dissertations of National Natural Science Foundation, Academic Degree Center of Ministry of Education, and papers of important academic journals.
In 1997, he received his doctorate degree from the State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry of Nanjing University under the guidance of Mr. You Xiaozeng, a famous chemist in China. He has been engaged in academic research in the laboratory of Institute of Photographic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Nottingham, Academia Sinica (Taipei), Northwestern University, USA, Sir Fraser Stoddart (2016 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry) and so on. He has presided over and completed a number of funds, including five National Natural Science Foundations, one cooperation plan for high-end foreign experts of the Ministry of Science and Technology, one special fund for doctoral programs of the Ministry of Education, and one start-up fund for returned overseas students of the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 90 academic papers in J. Am. Chem.Soc., Science and Chemistry in China, and other journals. So far, it has trained more than 50 doctoral and master's students, including more than 10 international students.
He has taught 8 basic and specialized courses for undergraduates and postgraduates, including Inorganic Chemistry, General Chemistry, College Chemistry, and Coordination Chemistry (Bilingual). Teach the national quality video open course "Into the Crystal World" and the MOOCs "Environmental Safety and Green Chemistry (bilingual)". Edited and published "Coordination Chemistry (Bilingual edition)" (third edition, school-level postgraduate excellent textbook).
He has won the first "T-more" Excellent Teacher Award, the First Famous Teaching Teacher Award, the Advanced individual of teacher ethics, the excellent doctoral dissertation Advisor, the excellent Master's Dissertation Advisor and other honorary titles of Beijing Institute of Technology.

Research Interests

(1) Coordination chemistry and supramolecular chemistry of nucleotides: design and construct metal complexes, coordination polymers and supramolecular assemblies of nucleotides with different structures and properties through metal coordination, hydrogen bonding, π-π stacking and other synergies. The structure of the assembly was studied by X-ray single crystal diffraction, powder diffraction, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Special attention is paid to the chirality of coordination supramolecular assemblies.
(2) Design, synthesis, structure and properties of fluorescent functional molecules and their metal complexes: Design and synthesize three -, four -, symmetrical, asymmetrical, D-A and other novel Schiff base ligands, and study their fluorescence properties before and after coordination with metal and their effects on other environmental factors, as well as their potential fluorescent probes in environment and organisms.
(3) eutectic studies between functional organic molecules. The crystal or eutectic structure of functional small organic molecules is controlled by selecting different functional small organic molecules and changing the conditions. Recognize the relationship between structure and property.
