Computational physics and condensed matter physics theory, mainly engaged in cutting-edge research work in semiconductor and new energy materials, including atomic structure, electronic structure, defect and doping, excited states, and dynamic processes and other physical problems theoretical and computational simulation.
He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, and received his PhD in condensed matter Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. From 2010 to 2016, he worked in the National Laboratory of Renewable Energy in the United States, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the Institute of High Performance Computing, Singapore Agency for Science and Technology Research. He has been working in Beijing Institute of Technology since 2017 and is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor.
From 2010 to 2016, he was engaged in scientific research at the National Laboratory for Renewable Energy in the United States, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the Institute of High Performance Computing at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore. He has been working in Beijing Institute of Technology since 2017 and is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor.
Research results are mainly concentrated in the field of semiconductors, in Nat. Commun., Phys. Rev. Lett., Nano Lett., Adv. Mater. He has published more than 30 SCI papers in international journals, with a total of more than 1,000 citations, and was selected as the 13th batch of national high-level young talents.
