Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis of Involute Spur Gear-Shaft Transmission System

摘要

In this paper, the coupling dynamic model of involute gear-shaft transmission system is established by combining the method of lumped parameter and the finite element method. The nonlinear transmission shaft model is established by using the three-dimensional beam element. The nonlinear time-varying gear mesh model of the involute spur gear is established by using lumped parameter method. In the nonlinear time-varying model, the three-dimensional nonlinear deformation of transmission shaft and the influences of the time-varying center distance, time-varying pressure angle, time-varying position angle, time-varying side clearance, time-varying gear meshing stiffness, gear meshing force under dynamic conditions on the gear meshing parameters are considered. In addition, the influence of the geometric eccentricity of gears is considered in the model. Then, the generalized-α implicit time iteration algorithm is used to solve the system equations and the nonlinear dynamic responses of the system are analyzed. It can be found that the obviously nonlinearity of the gear meshing parameters can be induced by the vibration of the shaft. The operating condition has a great influence on the dynamic responses of involute spur gear-shaft transmission system.
