Abstract

Based on the principle of click chemistry, azido-terminated tetrahydrofuran/ethylene oxide copolyether (N3PET4000) was synthesized via using tetrahydrofuran/ethylene oxide copolyether (PET4000) and NaN3 as starting materials. N3PET4000 was characterized by fourier transform infrared (FTIR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and elemental analysis. The solidification reaction between N3PET 4000 and multi-acetylene compound was studied. The mechanical properties of N3PET4000 film with different values of R were characterized. When the R value is 1.0, the N3PET4000 curing system has better mechanical properties. Crosslinking network generated the highest cross-linking density when R value is about 1.1.
