Zhai Jinxian has been engaged in research on polymers and energetic composites for a long time. Has presided over/completed the National Natural Science Foundation projects, 973 special/sub-special projects, major research projects, etc.; Participate in the completion of pre-research, demonstration and verification of scientific research projects. He teaches undergraduate courses "Fundamentals of Materials Science" and "Surfaces and Interfaces of Materials", and postgraduate courses "Materials Surface Science" and "Aerospace Materials and Technology". As the first author, he edited a textbook entitled "Science and Application of Material Table Interface", published nearly 40 papers and authorized more than 10 projects. He is the author of hazardous materials, Polymer, Crystal Growth & Design, Journal of polymer research and materials research Reviewer of "express", "Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering", "Chemical Progress", "Ordnance Engineering Journal", "Propulsion Technology" and other journals.
