Abstract

The kinetic model of the VNS amination reaction of 2,4,6- trinitromethylbenzene(TNT) and 4-amino-1, 2,4-triazole(ATA) was investigated by monitoring the change of concentrations of reactant with time using HPLC method, the rate constants and activation energy of the reaction were obtained. The experimental results showed that study on kinetics of the VNS amination by HPLC was available. The rate constants at 25°C and 35°C are 0. 36 L · mol-1 · min-1 and 0. 63L · mol-1 · min-1, respectively. The activation energy of the reaction was 42. 74 kJ · mol-1. The reaction is easy to process, and with the increase of temperature, the rate constant increases.
