Personal profile

In view of the severe eutrophication problem facing the water environment of rivers and lakes around the world, I proposed the water control concept of "natural approach, simple road, and let nature do the work", followed the water control principle of "in situ targeted purification of surface water and water ecological restoration", and created the water control theory of "imitating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease treatment". It innovates the water control technology of "homogenous photocatalysis coupled with algal and bacterial biochemical degradation", and makes a major breakthrough in eliminating surface water eutrophication, which can stably achieve the water quality index of total phosphorus ≤0.029 mg/L and total nitrogen ≤0.58 mg/L in surface water, and achieve the goal of water ecological stability, water self-purification and basically mainentance-free. The treatment of surface water body has the characteristics of no need to desilting, in-situ self-cleaning, natural traceless and clear water body.
In the process of studying the treatment of surface water, I also accidentally discovered the third natural nitrogen fixation path in the earth's nitrogen cycle, that is, under the specific natural environmental conditions of the primitive Earth, ammonia can be produced from nitrogen in water, which provides an important material basis for the origin of life on Earth. This research result also provides an important support for the management of surface water.

Research Interests

In the past ten years, my research interests have been focused on the intersection of chemistry, physics, life and ecology of surface water bodies, aiming to solve the pain points of human demand, safety and expectation of water resources -- eutrophication of rivers and lakes and cyanobacteria bloom, and eliminate eutrophication of surface water bodies by discovering the mysteries of natural chemistry, physics and life processes, and then innovating technologies. Subvert the theory of water ecological restoration and lead the world in surface water governance.

From 2016 to 2018, Deputy Director of Water Resources Bureau of Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province and Deputy Secretary of Liu Ji Town
From 2005 to now, he has been working in School of Chemical Engineering and Environment and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, as senior engineer, associate professor and master supervisor.
From 1990 to 2001, he worked in the Scientific Research Institute of the State Food Administration, Director of the Food Additives Division, secretary of the Party branch and senior engineer.

Research Achievement

Major achievements in recent ten years, presided over the completion of electrochemical - photocatalytic - biochemical continuous treatment of explosive DNT industrial wastewater, coking wastewater, landfill leachate and other treatment pilot and pilot studies; Experimental and pilot studies on continuous treatment of industrial wastewater from TNT by complexation extraction, electrochemistry and biochemistry. Presided over the implementation of 60,000 square meters of Yizheng Meiqiao reservoir water treatment and ecological restoration demonstration project. Presided over the implementation of 170,000 square meters of Mingyue Lake in Yangzhou, 2.7 kilometers of Lanyue River, 1.6 kilometers of Zhaojia branch Ditch and 0.6 kilometers of Lanyue River water treatment for one year. He is presiding over the Beijing Institute of Technology Liangxiang North Lake water treatment and water ecological restoration project.
