Abstract

The stable Zr6-based coordination framework Ru-1 was assembled via the linkage of Zr6-organic layers and photosensitized Ru(N^N)3-metalloligand. Based on its 1D open channel and the incorporation of Ru(N^N)3-photosensitizer, it can serve as a highly efficient heterogeneous catalyst in the aerobic photooxidation reactions, including photooxidation of sulfides, coupling of amines and oxidative hydroxylation of arylboronic acids. The stability and catalytic performance of recycled Ru-1 was also explored.
