Research Achievement

A series of achievements have been made in the design, synthesis, assembly and performance of oxygenation clusters, including Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev., Acc.Chem. Res., Coord.Chem. Rev., Angew.Chem. Int.Ed. He has published more than 520 papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc. And other journals, obtained 9 national authorized invention patents, edited 1 monograph of "Chemistry of Oxygen Cluster Compounds" and wrote many chapters, some of which won the second prize of National Natural Science Award and the first prize of Fujian Natural Science Award. The hydrothermal synthesis method of the absence addition metal oxygen cluster was established, the idea of absence orientation and the concept of organic skeleton of clusters were put forward, and the second metal substitution reaction on the vanadium oxygen cluster cage was developed, which contributed to the synthesis chemistry of transition metal oxygen cluster. 2. The induced aggregation and synergistic coordination strategies and spiral tube construction strategies were proposed, which promoted the development of rare earth oxygen cluster synthesis chemistry; 3. Metallic bonds were discovered in the presence of water and oxygen, the construction strategy of second-order nonlinear optical materials and the idea of self-polymerization and induced aggregation into clusters were proposed, and the crystallization conditions of aluminum borate were successfully explored, which promoted the development of synthetic chemistry of germanium-oxygen clusters, boron-oxygen clusters and rare earth germanium-oxygen clusters.
He presided over the special Fund for the Introduction of foreign Outstanding Talents and the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the project of the National Major Scientific Research Program (973 Program), the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation, the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation and the surface project.
