Abstract

In this paper, the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) is adopted to calculate the radiation of broadcast antennas in both near- and far-field regions, in which two sets of octrees are built to fast predict the radiating fields. The singular and quasi-singular integrals involved in the computation of near fields are rigorously dealt with to improve the computational accuracy. Numerical experiments on broadcast antenna with given input power are conducted to validate the performance of the proposed method.
