Abstract
An optimal polarization reception signal-to-interference-and-noise-ratio (SINK) equation was derived directly based on the polarization-ratio parameters. Some analytic solutions in special cases of polarization were presented. Several optimal strategies were proposed. An optimal polarization scheme namely the three steps searching and comparison (TSSC) was suggested. Comparison among several optimal schemes was given. Simulation results show that the TSSC scheme takes only four steps to approach the global optimum.
