Abstract

Since pneumatic systems, commonly powered by compressed air or compressed inert gases, provide a lower cost, more flexible, or safer alternative to electric motors and actuators, this field has drawn lots of attentions [1]. Especially in pneumatic robots, flexibility of dexterous robot hands plays an important role in space exploration, industrial manufacture, and service robot industry.
