Abstract

The effects of deformation modes, deformation quantities, dynamics behavior and microstructures on the materials mechanical performance and adiabatic shear fracture of tungsten heavy alloys were discussed. The analysis results show that the mechanical states and shapes of micro-particles and microstructure orientation of tungsten heavy alloys have a strong influence on deformation performance and adiabatic shear fracture of tungsten heavy alloys. The texture had been found in rotary swaged tungsten heavy by X-ray testing. The different adiabatic shear fracture sensitivities were induced by the different crystal anisotropy and dynamics anisotropy.
