Abstract

This paper discussed the use of continuous relaxation spectrum to characterize the aging process of NEPE propellants. Dynamic mechanics was tested after the propellant was accelerated aging at 80°C, 75°C, 70°C and 65°C. Data shows that continuous relaxation spectrum can intuitive fully characterize the polymer multilayer structure of NEPE propellant. At the same accelerated aging temperature, the distribution range of continuous relaxation spectrum narrows over time. Analyzed with the aging mechanism of NEPE propellant, this trend can be used to characterize the aging process of NEPE propellants.
