Abstract

To study the catalyzed combustion mechanism of plateau propellants, a multi-phase combustion model was put forward, in which the interactions among solid phase, liquid phase and gas phase were considered. Using the numerical calculation method and phase distribution, burning rate and other parameters were calculated. From the results the plateau burning phenomena can be explained.
