Abstract

The paper focuses on multiple parameter estimation of chirp signals in noisy environment. On the basis of analyzing the existing methods, a new sequential estimation method using RAT and FRFT is presented. Moreover, for the constant amplitude estimation, an expression suitable for computation is given. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the method. The method estimates the parameters in a sequential manner. In order to analyze the noise and error propagation effect to the estimation accuracy, Some Monte Carlo experiments are made under various SNR. The results show that the method has still better estimation performance with a SNR as low as-9dB.
