Abstract

With the development of construction, curtain wall which are the exterior decorator of buildings are more and more popular. The quality of curtain wall installation relates to the beauty and safe. In order to improve the test precision of curtain wall installation and reduce the man-made influence, a kind of quality evaluation machine for curtain wall installation was developed. It consists of structured light, mini-PC and camera. The camera takes the pictures of curtain wall need to test with the structured light on it. Using optimal threshold value algorithm in image processing to get the gaps and parallelism between the curtain wall to be tested and have tested. Through experiments on the simulated conditions and the actual conditions, the results show that the accuracy of system is within 0.5 mm. http://www.ieee-icma.org.
