Abstract
This paper proposes a simple design of single-feed dual-band stacked patch antenna operating at 28 GHz and 38 GHz for 5G communication. The stacked structure, consisting of an E-shaped patch and a rectangular patch, is fed by a probe. The bandwidths (vert mathrm{S}-{11}vert < -10 text{dB}) at 28 and 38 GHz bands achieve 15.9% and 8.8%, respectively. The peak gains of the two bands are 6.7 and 6.8 dBi. The advantages of the antenna are simple structure, stable radiation patterns and flexible frequency tuning.
