Abstract

We demonstrate a 2.56 Tbit/s/ch polarization-multiplexed DQPSK transmission over 300 km. An ultrafast optical Fourier transformation technique was employed to reduce waveform distortions. The performance was mainly limited by inter-polarization crosstalk induced by second-order PMD.
