Selected as the National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project (overseas). As PI, he has presided over a number of highly competitive scientific research projects in Japan and Denmark, including the high-impact VILLUM Young Scholars Fund project, with a total funding of more than 15 million yuan. Before returning to China, he worked full-time in Technical University of Denmark, and has been engaged in ultra-high-speed optical communication and optical signal processing research for a long time, including time-domain lens optical Fourier transform, nonlinear optics, optical wireless communication and all-optical networks. Based on his outstanding contributions to all-optical signal processing technology, he was awarded tenured Senior Research Fellow/Associate Professor by the Technical University of Denmark in 2019. The relevant achievements have been published in Nature Communications, Optics Express,IEEE PTL,IEEE JLT and other international authoritative journals, Optical Fiber Communication Exhibition and Conference (OFC), European Optical Communication Congress (ECOC) and Laser and Optoelectronics Conference (CLEO). A total of more than 90 papers. As the first inventor to declare 4 international invention patents (3 have been authorized), won the 2016 EU Horizon Prize, in recognition of the breakthrough of light transmission barriers (collective award). Invited to make special presentations at the top international conferences OFC, CLEO and Asian Fiber Optic Communications Conference (ACP). Invited to be a member of the Technical Committee of the international conferences OECC/PSC2019, PSC2020.
