摘要

Achieving high-precision and fast-response for the control of pneumatic rod cylinders is a challenging engineering task as a reason of high nonlinearity induced by variable mechanical friction and air compressibility [1, 2]. During the last decades, many research works have been devoted to deal with this challenge [3]. A proportional adaptive neuro-fuzzy controller is proposed to achieve position control for a pneumatic cylinder which is modified in [4]. An adaptive fuzzy-PD controller is presented to deal with some typical time-varying and nonlinearity dynamics in [5].
