摘要
Particle system can be used to simulate 3D complex objects in the natural environment. The design of a universal particle system can greatly improve the efficiency of a particle system and present realistic effect to fulfill the demand for immersion in Virtual Reality within the capacity of the performance of computers. A universal particle system was designed which realized the common interface for dynamic switch between the different objects and different states of an object. Several key technologies were discussed and the simulation effect of the proposed particle system is realistic and can reach the requirements of being real-time.
