N2 - Aiming at a kind of typical dynamic hysteresis model which can be used to describe hysteresis characteristic of piezoceramic actuator, a new kind of hysteretic compensating control strategy based on sliding mode principle is proposed. The sliding mode Compensator can transform the practical hysteretic characteristic into an ideal hysteretic characteristic effectively. Then, the multi-valued nonlinear mapping can be transferred to a single- valued linear mapping. The simulation results show the validity of the sliding mode compensator for the hysteretic characteristic.
