摘要
Reservoir energy efficiencies during crude oil recovery were comparatively studied between in situ combustion (ISC) and moderate temperature intelligent catalytic oxidation (MICO). Fuel consumptions were evaluated by local energy balance of reaction zones, and energy loss was obtained by numerically studying dimensionless thermal conduction problems with variable boundary conditions. Combined with recovery-volume burned method, oil production and energy utilization could be evaluated in an inverted five-spot reservoir. Narrow energy to oil production ratios (EOR) were studied respectively. The results showed the EOR of MICO is 42%~47% less than that of ISC.
