主要研究图论中的双圈覆盖问题与整数流问题，曾与合作者一起解决了双圈覆盖领域中的Fleischner问题，并证明了整数流领域中Bouchet六流猜想的最佳副结果。近期尝试将代数几何、代数拓扑等纯数学分支运用于图论领域。
