Abstract
Based on the continuum assumption, an equivalent vibration analysis is performed for lattice sandwich beam. The natural frequencies of the pyramidal core sandwich beam from theoretical prediction are compared with corresponding finite element results. For simply-supported sandwich plates with the tetrahedral and pyramidal cores, the modal analysis and buckling analysis are performed by FEM, and the influences of microscopic geometrical parameters on natural frequency and buckling are also investigated.
