Abstract
A novel energetic coordination polymer [Pb (tza)2]n was synthesized by the reaction of PbCO3 and tetrazole-1-acetic acid in water solution, and characterized by elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra. The crystal structure was investigated by using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and it belongs to monoclinic system with space group C2/c, a=1.5370 (5) nm, b=1.0373 (3) nm, c=0.8261 (3) nm, β=119.415 (4)°, V=1.1473 (7) nm3, ρ=2.671 g/cm3, Z=2. The thermal decomposition process of [Pb (tza)2]n and non-isothermal kinetics analysis were investigated by using DSC and TG-DTG methods, also its sensitivities were tested according to the specifications. The study results verify that [Pb (tza)2]n presents good properties for potential application as an energetic material.
