He has been selected into the New Century Outstanding Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education, Beijing Science and Technology Nova, won the Youth Science and Technology Award of China Ornithology Society, and guided graduate students to win four excellent doctoral theses and one excellent master's degree thesis of China Ornithology Society. He won the Beijing Teaching Teacher Award and the Beijing Education teaching achievement Grand Prize, first prize and second prize each.
