Abstract

3, 3-bisazidomethyloxetane-3-azidomethyl-3-methyloxetane (BAMO-AMMO)/toluene diisocyanate (TDI)/1, 4-butanediol (BDO)/pentaglycerine (TME) energetic binder films were prepared using BAMO-AMMO random copolymer as prepolymer, TDI and BDO as curing agents and TME as crosslinking agent. Mechanical analysis, solubility measurement, DSC and DMA were used to charactize the film. The tensile strength of the binder film raises to 6.34 MPa and the breaking elongation is 475% when the mass fraction TME is 30% in TEM+BDO. Solubility parameters of BAMO-AMMO binder film is close to that of the nitrate ester plasticizers commonly used in propellant, showing the excellent miscibility. Glass transition temperatures of the binder film gradually increase with the increase of TME content. β transition appears at -70°C.
