In 1999, he was promoted to professor, in 2000, he was hired as doctoral supervisor, and in 2001, he was selected into the cross-century outstanding Talents Training program of the Ministry of Education. He is currently the responsible professor of energetic materials, the leader of the responsible Professor group of Materials Science and Engineering, and the director of the Key Laboratory of High Energy Density Materials of the Ministry of Education. He is also a member of the expert group of the Science and Technology Commission of the Military Commission, the Equipment Development Department of the Military Commission, and the Science and Technology Committee of the Bureau of Science and Industry for National Defense. Editorial board member of Propellant Technology, Energetic Materials, Fine Chemicals, etc. Member of the Special Committee of Water-based Technology Application, Chemical Society of China. He has been engaged in the research of energetic materials and polymer materials for a long time, and has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects including the National key research and development program, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the National Defense Science and Technology special project. He has published more than 200 academic papers, 8 monographs and textbooks, more than 60 authorized invention patents, and won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, 2 first prize of National defense science and technology progress, and 4 other ministerial science and technology awards.
