Abstract

It was reported for the first time that the racemic ofloxacin and 2-amino-N-isobutyl-l-phenylethanol enantiomers were separated by HPCE. The effects of the important experimental parameters such as the concentration of the chiral selector and pH of the background electrolyte on the separations were investigated. And the baseline separation of enantiomers of ofloxacin and 2-amino-N-isobutyl-1-phenylethanol was finally achieved with CZE using 2, 6-dimethyl-β-CD as the chiral selector.
