Abstract

This paper proposed a FRFT-based incoherent demodulation technique for Chirp spread spectrum communication systems which are accepted as a member of IEEE802.15.4a. Then the paper studied the principle and the performance of the FRFT demodulation technique. According to the AWGN channel and the S-V channel defined by IEEE802.15.4a, the BER of the FRFT demodulation and the match filtering demodulation is presented and discussed. The theoretical analysis and the simulation indicated that the FRFT demodulation has a better BER performance under the multipaths fading channel.
