Abstract

This paper proposes a compound controller, which combines P-type Iterative Learning Control (ILC) containing forgetting factor with Intelligent PI Control, to achieve precise tracking control of the Control Moment Gyro (CMG) for active vibration suppression based on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). The simulation in Matlab/Simulink and the experiment research are carried out. In the end, the experiment results of active vibration suppression with the CMG show a good performance on an experiment platform of a flexible solar panel.
