Abstract

We describe a single-channel 400 Gbit/s (polarization-multiplexed, 10 Gsymbol/s, 4 OTDM-32 RZ/QAM) coherent transmission using an optical phase-locked loop technique with a frequency-stabilized fiber laser. 400 Gbit/s data were transmitted over 225 km.
