Simulation research on automobile engine characteristics

Abstract

The speed, load and universal performance characteristics of engine were discreted to matrix. Mathematical models of automobile engine were established through curves and surface fitting, neural network and so on. Its computer simulation program was compiled. The simulation result shows that the precision fitting results of full load speed characteristics of engine is increasing with the exponent. Full load speed characteristics of engine could be embodied actually through five exponents fitting. Fitting accuracy is 99. 85% when universal performance and load characteristics of engine were fitted. Mathematical models have higher simulation accuracy and can effectively describe characteristics of the engine.
