Research on the key technologies of virtual proving ground for weapon equipment

Abstract

The expense of proving ground testing for the weapon developments becomes prohibitive, so the virtual proving ground technologies depend on computer simulation should be constructed. The current research status of the virtual proving ground is analyzed, and several key technologies are presented. The architecture of virtual proving ground is designed which can implement the integration of distributed simulation and parallel simulation based on the high performance computation. The framework diagram of weapon system virtual prototyping is designed after analyzing the virtual prototyping technology. Finally, the implement methods for collaborative simulation testing are summarized. The virtual proving ground simulation system can be constructed based on all the above researches.
